Former and current meter readers gather at McIver Park for a picnic on August 7, 2024
On a beautiful, sunny, warm August day at Milo McIver Park former and current (pun not intended) PGE Meter Readers gathered to reconnect, get caught up, and share stories and laughs. Friends came from widespread locations including Springfield, Oregon and as far as the California Central Valley. The potluck offerings were plentiful and delicious. It was a joy for everyone to commune with friends not seen in years. This was also an annual gathering for some of us to pay tribute to our Meter Reader friends who have passed away ( Bruce Coon, Ed Wieme, Bill Knight, Mike Picco, John Nelson, Dan Derr, John Gibbs, Bob Weiss, Kathy Davies, Kathleen Fallon and others)
