Nine members of the PGE Retirees Board and a guest gathered on July 31, 2024
The PGE Retiree Board held the Annual Retreat on July 31, 2024 at Board Director Jay Tinker’s home in Wilsonville. President Greg Rife created a full, and relevant agenda which reviewed the past and looked to the future. Characteristics of a successful Board were reviewed by VP John McLain and a lively discussion about what we do well and what we need to improve ensued. Board succession planning and retention was thoroughly discussed. The relationship between PGE Retirees Inc and Portland General Electric was addressed and a continuing intention to maintain a strong, mutually beneficial bond with the company and employees was reinforced. Following the business portion of the gathering Jay and Kristin Tinker hosted a delicious summer themed picnic for the appreciative Board members (President Greg Rife, Vice President John McLain, Treasurer Carol Maresh, Communications Committee co chairs Terry Clelen and Ed Gorman, Stan and guest Lynn Chiotti, Norby Chartrey, MinhHang Tran, and guest Conrad Eustis.
