PGE Retirees enjoyed a great day of golf at Rose City Golf Course September 8, 2025
PGE retirees have worked through major disasters – floods, quakes, wind, ice, and more recently, fires. These events affect all aspects of PGE – generation, transmission, distribution, customer operations, community relations, human resources, corporate communications, and so on. Here are some stories and pictures submitted by the members of PGE Retirees Inc. (If you have a story – and we know you do – please send them to us at pgeretirees.org.)
Another in a long line of memorable golf scramble events was successfully planned and managed by Dore Judd for PGE Retirees (and friends). Rose City Golf Course proved to be a worthy successor to Quail Valley Golf Course near Banks which was sold for development. Eight teams participated on a rain threatening but very comfortable day. Dore must be living right as the rain held off until the cars were leaving the parking lot at the end of the day. Looking forward to another successful tournament in 2026.
