PGE retirees have worked through major disasters – floods, quakes, wind, ice, and more recently, fires. These events affect all aspects of PGE – generation, transmission, distribution, customer operations, community relations, human resources, corporate communications, and so on. Here are some stories and pictures submitted by the members of PGE Retirees Inc. (If you have a story – and we know you do – please send them to us at pgeretirees.org.)

About 150 PGE Retirees gathered on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Monarch Hotel and Convention Center in Clackamas, Oregon.
Retirees came together to socialize and to share a delicious meal with old friends and colleagues. PGE Vice Presidents Anne Mersereau and Larry Bekkedahl gave retirees an update on the current happenings at PGE and many hearty and heart-felt words of appreciation for the building blocks that were laid by retirees. PGE retirees Bill Valach and Dwaine Wisthoff – otherwise known as the Two Bit Brothers – provided lively music, both originals and songs their audience knew, and in some cases, could dance to. And what would a retiree gathering be without prizes?! There were lots, including the poinsettias decorating the tables. All in all, it was a fun and festive experience for everyone!
